Texe Marrs the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Master of Lies and Damned Lies

"This is a sign of the love God has instilled in our hearts. —Texe Marrs"
So those today who say they are “Jews” are not of Abraham. However, the Palestinians—mostly Moslem—are of Abraham! So, who should possess the land?

"Called by God to exalt Jesus Christ and to expose darkness in these last days—Texe Marrs"

"The people of Israel today are virtually all of Khazar (Turk/Mongol stock) extraction. The “Jews” have no genetic claims to the land of Israel and no family connection whatsoever to historical Israel, for this is a sign of the love God has instilled in our hearts. —Texe Marrs"

"The ancestors of today’s Jews are not Israelites but are Khazarians. Khazaria’s people, in the 8th century, converted from paganism to Judaism. In the 10th century, these Khazarian “Jewish” converts emigrated to Eastern Europe, and especially Poland and Lithuania. —Texe Marrs"

"All the souls of Israel said 'We shall do, and we shall learn'".  'All THE SOULS' are also the souls of Jews in the future, including the souls of converts. So had there been a million full blooded chinese convert to Judaism, every one of them would be just as Jewish as a Jewish soul at Mount Sinai when Torah was given by HaShem."
FYI: Jews were in Europe long before any Khazarian. Check your history, Texe Marrs.

Marrs is a student of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion? The Protocols is one of the best-known and most-discussed examples of literary forgery, proof of its fraudulent origin going as far back as 1921.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion or The Protocols of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion is an antisemitic hoax purporting to describe a Jewish plan for global domination. It was first published in Russia in 1903, translated into multiple languages, and disseminated internationally in the early part of the 20th century. Henry Ford funded printing of 500,000 copies that were distributed throughout the US in the 1920s.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis publicized the text as though it were a valid document, although it had already been exposed as fraudulent. After the Nazi Party came to power in 1933, it ordered the text to be studied in German classrooms. The historian Norman Cohn suggested that Hitler used the Protocols as his primary justification for initiating the Holocaust—his "warrant for genocide"

The Protocols is a fabricated document purporting to be factual. It was originally produced in Russia between 1897 and 1903, possibly by Pyotr Ivanovich Rachkovsky, head of the Paris office of the Russian Secret Police, and unknown others.

Source material for the forgery consisted jointly of Dialogue aux enfers entre Machiavel et Montesquieu or Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu, an 1864 political satire by Maurice Joly.

World literature includes a number of works employing the literary technique of the false document, presenting a work as an authentic text – the reader, however, will know of the fictional origin of the work.

The Protocols is one of the best-known and most-discussed examples of literary forgery, with analysis and proof of its fraudulent origin going as far back as 1921.

"Now the Zionist psychopaths have targeted the United States and Western Europe. The Protocols continue to ring true and sound the alarm. If we close our eyes and ears and fail to heed this alarm, we will surely find ourselves in great peril. Our very survival depends on our unmasking the agenda set forth in the Protocols of the Zionist and Masonic elite for a Big Brother Police State and a New World Order" —Texe Marrs

What He believes…
… that the Lord Jesus Christ is one with the Father and the Holy Spirit, that He is, was and forever shall be God, and that Jesus is the one mediator between man and God.
… that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, sacrificially died for our sins, was resurrected and now reigns victorious forevermore.
… that Jesus wishes no one to perish, for He is love. Yet those who reject Him will perish in their sins.
… the Bible is inerrant and divinely inspired by God Almighty.
… the Bible is sufficient and authoritative as a complete guide to our daily living and the raising of our families.
… that the King James Bible is the only Bible that is totally reliable and inerrant and that all other versions are either flawed or incomplete.
… that salvation is a free gift of God, and that a person must be born again to receive this gift.
… that those who trust in God and are saved will willingly live for and be obedient to His commandments.
… that Christians must place their faith and trust in Jesus and His Word alone and not in a particular church or denomination.
… that all who are saved are members of God’s invisible church and heirs of the Kingdom of God.
… that the devil (Satan, or Lucifer) has already been defeated and that his pitiful fate is sealed.
… that God is infinitely more powerful than the devil and that Christian believers have nothing to fear in the devil for they are under the complete protection and shield of the Most High God.
… that it is God’s will we strive and work diligently to protect our children from the devil and his evil plan to enslave and bring them into bondage.
… in the Great Commission of Christ and therefore we encourage every believer to witness to and preach Jesus and the Gospel unceasingly to unbelievers, for this is a sign of the love God has instilled in our hearts.
So, here's what Texe Marrs believes…in a nutshell (when not hating Jews) I'm going to create man and woman with original sin. Then I'm going to impregnate a woman with myself so I can be born. Once alive I will kill myself as a sacrifice to myself, to save you from the sin I originally condemned you to. ie: Nicean Christian Theology with a spin of good ole Nazi Hate for the Jewish people.

Israeli Researcher Challenges Jewish DNA links to Israel, Calls Those Who Disagree 'Nazi Sympathizers'

The Genetic Literacy Project reports that the ongoing conflict
between Israel and its neighbors over the origins of the “Jewish
people” has surfaced again as an issue of great controversy—with
science in the crosshairs.

It’s particularly troublesome when a scientist
—in this case, an Israeli molecular geneticist
whose motivations appear more personal and
ideological than scientific—stokes the
contretemps. The current brouhaha arises
over a recent study by Eran Elhaik and is
accompanied by his personal attacks on more
mainstream scientists who have eviscerated his work. In the face of
overwhelming evidence from dozens of studies over twenty years from
geneticists and historians around the world, Elhaik is aggressively stumping
on behalf of his belief that most Jews trace their seminal ancestry not to the
Middle East but to the Caucuses and Eastern Europe.

Elhaik, who is now a post-doctoral researcher at Johns Hopkins, is
recirculating the debunked “Khazarian hypothesis” promoted by journalist
Arthur Koestler in his 1976 book, The Thirteenth Tribe, written before
scientists had the tools to compare genomes and challenge his conclusion. (1)

Apart from the historical evidence proving that a vast majority of present-day Jews did not descend from the Khazars, there is now also genetic evidence. Among the Jews there is the class of priests called Cohanim who served in the Temple and who now carry surnames such as “Cohen” and many variations on that name. Cohanim comprise of about 5% of the male Jewish population. There are strict rules of marriage for the Cohanim and the title is only passed through the male line. Also, converts cannot become Cohanim (but their children will be if they have a Cohen as a father). The priestly line is descended directly from the Aaron of the bible so it is expected that all Cohanim would carry some common genetic features.
In recently published work (1) it was found that 54% of self-identified Cohanim had common genetic features that were revealed by analysis of their DNA. Specifically, a component of the Y-chromosome, an allele YAP+ DYS19, was identified that showed up only 1.5% of the time in Cohanim but 18.4% of the time in a random selection of non-Cohanim Jews and there were other genetic differences apparent as well. (The same differences were apparent for both Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jews also proving a common origin pre-dating a later split between the two groups.)

The large number of Cohanim among present-day Jews and the fact that they have a common genetic lineage traceable to Israel at the time of the Temple demonstrates that modern Jews come from a population pool derived from Israel and not from the Khazars. The Khazars could not have developed their own lineage of Cohanim anyway, since being a Cohen is a male-inherited status which converts (the Khazars) could not have obtained. Toni Townes ’85 is a onetime policy analyst with the General Accounting Office and previously served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, West Africa. Her decision to return to work, as an African-American woman, after six years of raising kids was applauded by a Princeton alumni publication in 1998
George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract.
On the government end, construction of the disastrous website was overseen by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a division of longtime failed website-builder Kathleen Sebelius’ Department of Health and Human Services.
CGI Federal did not immediately return a request for comment.

Update: The Daily Caller repeatedly contacted CGI Federal for comment. After publication of this article, the company responded that there would be “nothing coming out of CGI for the record or otherwise today.” The company did however insist that The Daily Caller include a reference to vice president Cheryl Campbell’s House testimony. This has been included as a courtesy to the company.

California moves towards revoking Boy Scouts tax exempt status over gay ban

California moves towards revoking Boy Scouts tax exempt status over gay ban

California has moved one step closer to revoking the tax exemption for the Boy Scouts because of their prohibition against gay members.
The California State Senate Governance and Finance Committee approved The Youth Equality Act by a 5-2 vote on Wednesday, sending the bill to the Senate Committee on Appropriations.
The bill, introduced by state Sen. Ricardo Lara (D-Long Beach), would revoke the sales and corporate tax exemption for any youth group that discriminated against members on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
“Today’s vote puts California one step closer in bringing full equality to LGBT youth throughout the state,” Lara said in a statement. “With its passage and growing list of supporters and co-authors, we will end this outdated practice of discrimination and exclusion.”
The Boy Scouts of America considered lifting the ban on gay members and leaders in January but delayed a vote on repealing the ban until May. The Supreme Court ruled in 2000 that the group was allowed to prohibit gay members under the First Amendment, which guarantees the freedom of association.

New York rabbi faces lawsuit after slicing of penis during ritual circumcision

New York rabbi faces lawsuit after slicing of penis during ritual circumcision
Rabbi Mordechai Rachminov
By: Moses Gold
(Scroll down for video) A New York rabbi was slapped with a lawsuit after slicing off parts of a baby’s penis during a ritual circumcision procedure, according to court documents filed in New York.

The Queens rabbi performed the ritual circumcision of the 8-day-old boy and then told the father that he did a decent job, even though the child needed corrective surgery, according to the lawsuit.

Gavriel Baruch, the boy's father, is suing Rabbi Mordechai Rachminov, claiming that he cut off part of the penis of his son during the religious ceremony several years ago, at the Bukharian Jewish Community Center in Forest Hills, according to the lawsuit filed last week in Queens Civil Supreme Court.

After the ritual, Rachminov, 69, deceived Baruch, claiming that circumcision was "done properly and that his conduct was within the standard of care and skill required for Jewish ritual circumcision," the lawsuit said.

Baruch was also told that a doctor was not necessary. “Even after it became clear that the bris went wrong, Rachminov and the community center did not call a doctor,” according to the lawsuit.

Baruch said that the delay in medical treatment resulted in more permanent damage to his child. The boy had to undergo corrective surgery under general anesthesia and may require further procedures, doctors said, according to the lawsuit. In the video below you can see the rabbi singing at a wedding in the Bukharian language.

Gay Kindle Paperwhite Ad, YouTube Takes Down, "seriously homophobic tripe flood"

Gay Kindle Paperwhite Ad, YouTube Takes Down, "seriously homophobic tripe flood"

Just the other day we reported on the new commercial for the Kindle Paperwhite, a humorous spot incorporating a gay man, a straight woman and their respective partners.

Well, a Queerty reader tipped us off this morning that YouTube has removed the ad for Amazon’s e-reader because of a “violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content.”

He wrote, “I checked the link, and confirmed that was what happened: no video, but a notice that it had been removed.”

The ad (above)—which shows a man and a woman discussing the merits of the Paperwhite before panning to their male partners—was posted by Kindle, so it seems odd it was flagged for being spam.

But the clip, which has been viewed by more than 308,000 people generated a flood of comments—including some seriously homophobic tripe. “A child being raised by their opposite gender will act different than one raised by the same, long-term anyway,” said one genius. “Who wants to explain to their child why a man is fucking another man, let alone married to one, simply over a kindle ad,” posted another who claims he doesn’t hate gays at all. “People need to keep their alternative lifestyle to themselves.”

Our tipster posits that enough of the homophobes unjustly flagged the ad as inappropriate to get it taken down, as we agree.

Here’s a note from YouTube’s community guidelines:
YouTube staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. Sometimes a video doesn’t violate our Community Guidelines, but may not be appropriate for everyone. These videos may be age-restricted.
Fortunately, by this afternoon the ad was back on the site.

Look, given the sheer volume of content uploaded to YouTube, there’s really no way to stop haters from flagging perfectly acceptable videos. What we can do, is let YouTube know when a clip has been wrongly targeted.

We can also ask YouTube to ban users who repeatedly abuse the flagging option. (Maybe GLAAD could head this up?)

And lastly we can turn the tables and flag clips of homophobes spewing their hate—because that shit truly is against YouTube policy.

“Hate speech” refers to content that promotes hatred against members of a protected group. For instance, racist or sexist content may be considered hate speech. Sometimes there is a fine line between what is and what is not considered hate speech. For instance, it is generally okay to criticize a nation, but not okay to make insulting generalizations about people of a particular nationality.

Full story here:

"The doctrine that the earth is neither the center of the universe nor immovable, but moves even with a daily rotation, is absurd, and both philosophically and theologically false, and at the least an error of faith."

--Catholic Church's decision against Galileo Galilei

Note these Church Fathers are the very ones to canonize the letters of Saint Paul into the New Testament Bible. Peter gives a warning about these letters in 2Pe 3:16  Indeed, he speaks about these things in all his letters. They contain some things that are hard to understand, things which the uninstructed and unstable distort, to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.

People who identify as gay or lesbian are not able to become heterosexual. While some people of ambivalent sexual orientation are capable of functioning as heterosexuals, those for whom homosexual orientation has become an integral feature of their personal identity are not able to transform into heterosexuals.

The following 2005 statement by the American Psychological Association summarizes the current scientific consensus about sexual orientation and individual volition: Human beings cannot choose their sexual orientation. Sexual orientation emerges for most people in early adolescence or late childhood without any prior sexual experience. The experience of sexual attraction and falling in love is one that individuals experience as outside their conscious control. Although we can choose whether to act on our feelings, psychologists do not consider sexual orientation to be a conscious choice.

The near total failure of advocates of “cure” to convert homosexuals into heterosexuals obviates the halakhic significance of tracing the source of homosexuality. Gay and lesbian people are homosexual and will remain so. Even those who have attempted a “cure” have been unable – in the vast majority of cases – to change their orientation. For the halakhist, therefore, the issue of significance is not the origin of homosexual orientation, but rather the permanence of such an orientation by the time sexuality reaches consciousness.

Whether sexual orientation is determined by nature or nurture or some combination of both does not alter the resultant orientation, whether that orientation is heterosexual, homosexual, or something in between. More:

Homeless Man Who Received Boots unacceptable lunacy

"Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children."

Homeless Man Who Received Boots from NYC Police Officer is Grateful, but is Barefoot Again

"The Jeffrey Hillman I Knew Had Shoes But Still Needed Help"

"He's barefoot again. That this is reality is unacceptable lunacy."

After Officer Lawrence DePrimo knelt beside a barefoot man on a bitterly cold November night in Times Square, giving him a pair of boots, a photo of his random act of good will quickly took on a life of its own -- becoming a symbol for a million acts of kindness that go unnoticed every day and a reminder that even in this tough, often anonymous city, people can still look out for one another.

Officer DePrimo was celebrated on front pages and morning talk shows, the Police Department came away with a burnished image and millions got a smile from a nice story.

But what of the shoeless man?

For days, his bare feet -- blistered and battered -- were well known. Yet precise details about him proved elusive.

His name is Jeffrey Hillman, and on Sunday night, he was once again wandering the streets -- this time on the Upper West Side -- with no shoes.

The $100 pair of boots that Officer DePrimo had bought for him at a Skechers store on Nov. 14 were nowhere to be seen.

"Those shoes are hidden. They are worth a lot of money," Mr. Hillman said in an interview on Broadway in the 70s. "I could lose my life."

Mr. Hillman, 54, was by turns aggrieved, grateful and taken aback by all the attention that had come his way -- even as he struggled to figure out what to do about it.

"I was put on YouTube, I was put on everything without permission. What do I get?" he said. "This went around the world, and I want a piece of the pie."

He did not recall the photo being taken but remembered well the gift from Officer DePrimo. "I appreciate what the officer did, don't get me wrong," he said. "I wish there were more people like him in the world."

At another point he said: "I want to thank everyone that got onto this thing. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. It meant a lot to me. And to the officer, first and foremost."

The New York Times

The Jeffrey Hillman I Knew Had Shoes But Still Needed Help

"a Chicken Soup for the Instagram Soul"

Justin Berkowitz
I met Jeffrey Hillman, the homeless man now standing barefoot at the center of a media flurry, in the spring of 2008. Freshly paroled from Columbia Law School, I sublet an apartment on 72nd and Columbus so I could study for the bar exam in the Jerusalem of yuppiedom, Manhattan's Upper West Side. My girlfriend and I loved the lifestyle, which New York Times columnist David Brooks described so elegantly as Bohemian Bourgeoisie. For us, this meant going to price-gouging farmer's markets, lectures at the JCC, and yes, even the occasional trip to Magnolia Cupcakes. One particularly gorgeous summer evening, we strolled over to what I've long considered New York's most overrated cupcake store - during which I probably subjected my poor girlfriend to a treatise on frosting texture.
He wasn't so much standing as he was stooped over, the man's six-plus-foot frame nearly reduced to my Hobbitine height. The guy probably weighed the same as I did, fattened up in years prior by trillion-dollar law firms and their butter-laden free dinners. Literally with hat in hand, he stepped forward and asked for anything I could spare. "Sorry," I said with routine coolness as I brushed by.
I wasn't working as a lawyer any more, and my modest salary from The Truth About Cars - for which I was still working as the Managing Editor - didn't give me the freedom to subsidize the entire 40,000-person homeless population of New York. The utility of this, my usual cop-out, dissolved a few seconds later, and Jessica and I returned.
"Jeffrey," he said when I introduced myself and asked his name. "Can we get you anything?" I nodded toward the cupcake emporium, a shop whose Disneyland antebellum décor only now struck me as odd. Jeffrey wanted bread pudding, a dessert dense in the calories he desperately needed.
After delivery, we chatted a minute more and parted ways. He was, in fact, wearing shoes.
During the next four months, I ran into Jeffrey everywhere. In front of the artisanal bread bakery on 72nd. Outside the copy shop on Broadway. By the parking garage at 73rd and Amsterdam. His world was outside these stores; mine was within them. Still, this didn't stop Jeffrey and I from talking, nearly every day. We'd make small talk. He'd recount a recent movie he saw on a bootleg DVD while crashing with a friend. I filled him in on where I grew up. We ate hot dogs at Gray's Papaya, where the open storefront meant we were both inside and out.
In the past four years, it's remarkable how much of my time with Jeffrey I remember. I've forgotten where he grew up, or what he did before he was homeless. I know he had served in the army, making him one of the hundreds of thousands of homeless veterans in the U.S. Jeffrey had already been on the street for several years when we met in 2008, and assuming he has been sleeping rough since then, that makes at least a decade that this man has been without a home.
Coming out of a bar one night, I heard "Justin!" and was greeted by Jeffrey, wearing a smile. We had a snack. Jeffrey asked if I could swipe him into the subway so he could sleep on a bench, out of the rain. "I don't have a MetroCard," holding back that I didn't need to take the subway that week because I was driving a Bentley, which the company had loaned to me for free. "And I'm out of cash," I said, with a phrase that means wildly different things to the two of us. "I wish I had known before we spent it on food, then," Jeffrey reflected, looking at the sidewalk.
For the homeless, the pavement is home. I ran to the ATM.
I moved out of the neighborhood on an incredibly humid night in August after a talk with the police. That night, I set the record for my own stupidity, spending a tense four seconds reviewing the criminal law portion of my bar studying while waiting for the air conditioner I dropped out of a window to hit the ground. After it exploded at the bottom of the airshaft ten stories below, I questioned my atheism and considered my fortune at being only moderately fucked. The cops in the Crown Vic I flagged down in front of the apartment building had little interest in my first-world screw-up after finding out that nobody was-or really could have been-hurt. Pavement, for me, is how one demolishes a window AC unit.
And so it's the same kind of concrete that was under Jeffrey's shoeless, calloused feet last week when Officer Lawrence DePrimo bought him a pair of boots. The photo a tourist took of the scene and posted online has become a sensation, a Chicken Soup for the Instagram Soul this holiday season. I didn't know it was in fact Jeffrey in that picture until the New York Timespublished a follow-up story this morning, having spoken with Jeffrey and finding him barefoot once again.
"Holy shit," I said aloud, seeing the article's accompanying photo. "It's Jeffrey. I'm so relieved he's still alive." I'd like to think I know what Officer DePrimo felt, because I too saw the warmth in Jeffrey Hillman's weather-worn face.
Jeffrey told the Times he had to hide his new footwear because it's too dangerous to wear an expensive set of boots. He's barefoot again. That this is reality is unacceptable lunacy. I'll be making a sizeable donation to the annual coat drive from New York Cares. Join me, or pick a charitable organization of your own. Sidewalks and streets are for shoe and tire rubber, not bare skin.

Note: Christian churches are filled with passionate men and women of all ages who love God with all their being, and have a deeply genuine love for other people. Many "Bible believing Christians" believe many unbiblical heresies. The wide acceptance of the beliefs within Christendom does not make it biblical.

One of the Six Constant Commands (mitzvot) of God is, "Don't be misled by your heart and eyes." Why is every Jew commanded to develop the recognition of Divine truth attained by Abraham: a recognition so absolute that it can, by the force of reason alone, dispel a universally entrenched doctrine, while Christians are taught NOT to use reason and logic? (Hebrews 11:1)

Other religious groups have been observed to practice some form of speaking in tongues - theopneustic glossolalia. It is perhaps most commonly in Paganism, Shamanism, and other mediumistic religious practices.] In Japan, the God Light Association used to practice glossolalia to cause adherents to recall past lives.

Glossolalia has even been postulated as an explanation for the Voynich manuscript.
Certain Gnostic magical texts from the Roman period have written on them unintelligible syllables such as "t t t t n n n n d d d d d..." etc. It is conjectured that these may be transliterations of the sorts of sounds made during glossolalia. The Coptic Gospel of the Egyptians also features a hymn of (mostly) unintelligible syllables which is thought to be an early example of Christian glossolalia.

In the 19th century, Spiritism was developed by the work of Allan Kardec, and the phenomenon was seen as one of the self-evident manifestations of spirits. Spiritists argued that some cases were actually cases of xenoglossia.

Glossolalia has also been observed in the Voodoo religion of Haiti, as well as in the Hindu Gurus and Fakirs of India.

Learned behavior

The material explanation arrived at by a number of studies is that glossolalia is "learned behavior". What is taught is the ability to produce language-like speech. This is only a partial explanation, but it is a part that has withstood much testing. It is possible to train novices to produce glossolalic speech. One experiment with 60 undergraduates found that 20% succeeded after merely listening to a 60-second sample, and 70% succeeded after training:
Our findings that glossolalia can be easily learned through direct instruction, along with demonstrations that tongue speakers can initiate and terminate glossolalia upon request and can exhibit glossolalia in the absence of any indexes of trance[…] support the hypothesis that glossolalia utterances are goal-directed actions rather than involuntary happenings.
The admittedly fraudulent preacher Marjoe Gortner described in a 1977 interview how people learn glossolalia in a highly emotional religious setting.
"Tongues is something you learn," he emphasized. "It is a releasing that you teach yourself. You are told by your peers, the church, and the Bible – if you accept it literally – that the Holy Ghost speaks in another tongue; you become convinced that it is the ultimate expression of the spirit flowing through you. The first time maybe you'll just go dut-dut-dut-dut, and that's about all that will get out. Then you'll hear other people and next night you may go dut-dut-dut-UM-dut-DEET-dut-dut, and it gets a little better. The next thing you know, it's ela-hando-satelay-eek-condele-mosandrey-aseya ... and it's a new language you've got down."
That glossolalia can be learned is also seen in the traces left behind by teachers. An investigation by the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn showed that the influence of a particular leader can shape a group's glossolalia: where certain prominent glossolalists had visited, whole groups of glossolalists would speak in his style of speech.

Kavan found that most New Zealand Pentecostals and Charismatics did not experience trance except during the baptism of the spirit. However, meditators in a yoga-based purification group experienced frequent intense trances, of which glossolalia was an occasional manifestation. Kavan suggested that there are two types of glossolalia – spontaneous and context-dependent – and the former is more likely to occur in groups that are radical, experiential and charismatically led.

Pentecostals, members of the Assemblies of God churches, and some other charismatics usually place great emphasis on spiritual "gifts and manifestations, claiming that there is a special post-salvation gift/experience called the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" or "Second Blessing", in which the Holy Spirit, in all His fullness, is poured out on the believer and that the initial evidence of this "Second Blessing" is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

When someone is "overcome by the Spirit" they often begin speaking gibberish, wave their arms, or even fall writhing on the floor. Apparently the speaker is said to be possessed by the Holy Spirit with the person himself having no control over his own tongue, which is is usually taken as absolute proof that one has been baptized in the Spirit, a highly prized spiritual goal.

But if, as shown,  tongues were a known language in the New Testament and there is absolutely no evidence to show that it was some form of ecstatic speech, and Paul instructed that everything was to be done decently and in order, where does the the unintelligible gibberish, jerking, twitching, falling on the floor etc. all come from? Is it even possible that the devil has substituted the true gift of tongues with a knock-off version? Has the allure of receiving some form of deeper spiritual experience deceived countless millions into accepting this counterfeit? -

Speaking in Tongues 2.0

The Six Constant Mitzvot are:

Know there is a God. Don't believe in other gods. God is one. Love God. Fear God. Don't be misled by your heart and eyes. Every moment of awareness is another occasion to actualize these goals. None of the other mitzvot has that same constant opportunity, and that's why the Six Constant Mitzvot are our priority. All the other mitzvot only build and bolster these goals.

INTELLECTUAL KNOWLEDGE OF GOD The first of the Ten Commandments declares: "I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt" (Exodus 20:2).

This is the mitzvah (commandment) to "Know there is a God."

The logic underlying this commandment seems difficult to understand. Someone who already observe God's commandments obviously believes in His existence -- so what need is there for a new command to do so? And if someone doesn't know that God exists, why should he listen to this command?!

So exactly who is this mitzvah for?

The answer is that we should not believe in God "on faith" alone. Investigate the evidence. Get knowledge. Research. Study. Analyze. It is a fundamental principle of Judaism: You have to know, not just believe.

EMOTIONAL TRUST "You shall know this day, and understand it in your heart, that the Almighty is God" (Deut. 4:39, the "Aleynu" prayer).

But there's more. It is not enough to intellectually know that God is in charge of everything. You must also know it in your heart. This emotional knowledge is much more profound, because it affects how a person actually conducts his life.

The circus performer is willing to walk the tightrope because he is confident there's a net below to catch him. Similarly, a child will jump down off a ledge into his father's arms, completely confident that his father will catch him.

The whole point of life is to strengthen your awareness of God. How do you know if you're really aware of God? Through trust. If you are, then you are willing to walk the tightrope, so to speak, or jump into your father's arms.[a]

The Experience of the False Prophet
 by yourphariseefriend

What is a “false prophet”? Is it someone who makes up a story out of his hat but never had any experience to back up that story? Or is it perhaps someone who had a profound experience but the experience is actually misleading?

There is no question that some false prophets simply concocted “visions” out of thin air but the Bible also teaches us about another type of “false prophet”.

In the First Book of Kings chapter 22 we are introduced to Zedekiah son of Chenaanah. This Zedekiah prophesied to King Ahab but his prophecy was false. Michaiah, who was a true prophet of God, described how Zedekiah had been misled. Michaiah describes God’s heavenly court sitting in judgment over Ahab. The court seeks to destroy Ahab and a medium is sought to accomplish this goal. A spirit is sent forth to persuade Ahab to go to battle where he will meet his fate. This spirit sent from on high was a real experience that Zedekiah and the other false prophets truly felt. But it was sent to mislead and to confuse.

It is clear that the fact that someone undergoes an “experience” does not prove anything. When Moses teaches us about the miracles of the false prophet he describes them as a test from God (Deuteronomy 13:4). Moses doesn’t tell us that the false prophet cannot perform miracles, signs and wonders. Instead Moses tells us that we need to measure those experiences, we need to evaluate those miracles and use our sense of discernment to understand if the miracles and the experiences are tests from God or if they are true prophecy.

The yardstick that God granted our nation so that we can evaluate these supernatural experiences is the testimony of our nation. Is the experience leading us in the path that God set us on when he took us out of Egypt or are these miracles introducing a “new” and “better” path?

Throughout history many people have attempted to market their “new paths” by claiming to be the real and rediscovered “old path”. But the path that God set us on travels through the hearts of His witness nation. And the only way that these people can claim our path for themselves is by dismissing our testimony.

As the nation chosen by God we have the responsibility toward ourselves and towards the world to remain loyal to the testimony with which we were entrusted. And the prophet Isaiah prophesied that the purpose of the Lord will indeed be fulfilled through our people. With our hearts on fire for God we will yet illuminate the world (Isaiah 60:3). [4]

This is a series of videos [below] to challenge people to search the scriptures, to see if what they were taught is actually in the Bible. Many of us heard things said over and over, so much so that we started believing the Bible verses were there. Sometimes we neglected to check. Other times we read things into a verse or pieced together passages to make a doctrine.

This video challenges you to see if you can find the phrase in the Bible, "with the evidence of speaking in tongues."

For the Record
To my fellow member of the human race
It has come to my attention that certain members of my people have been promulgating a doctrine that distorts the essence of the teaching that we were entrusted with.
You have heard how the Creator of all took us out of Egypt with signs and wonders and how He taught us His Torah through national revelation and through His prophet. The open miracles that God preformed for us spread our reputation as the possessors of God’s Law. These men of whom I speak, exploited our reputation as possessors of God’s truth, and they spread a teaching that has no basis in the Torah that God has bequeathed to us.
These teachers taught you that all of mankind is damned before God to eternal punishment. They taught that if a person commits one sin it is as if he or she violated all of the commandments. These men taught that the God of Israel will not forgive your sins unless you present a blood sacrifice. These men taught that the God of Israel is unapproachable. And they taught that the good deeds that you do will not bring you any closer to God.
All of these teachings are blatant falsehoods. As a member of the people who were entrusted with God’s Law, I see it as my duty to correct these falsehoods that were taught as if they were the Law of my God.
God does NOT condemn everyone to the fires of eternal damnation. You can search the Jewish Scriptures from cover to cover; you will not find one verse that supports such a teaching.
A person who commits one sin is NOT equivalent in God’s eyes as if they violated the entirety of the Law. The Scriptures explicitly teach that God judges every deed, both bad and good (Ecclesiastes12:14). The conscience that God breathed into all of us tells us that there is a great difference in God’s eyes between a person who lived a moral life on the one hand and a person who lived a life of cruelty and immorality on the other hand.
The Jewish Scriptures do NOT teach that God requires blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin. The Scriptures openly declare that if you turn to God in sincere repentance, God will forgive you (Isaiah 55:7).
The Jewish Scriptures do NOT teach that God is unapproachable. On the contrary, our prophets declare that God is close to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
If I were to say that the good deeds that you do will bring you closer to God, I will not have said enough. Our prophets taught us that the practice of justice IS intimacy with God (Jeremiah 22:16). When we follow the universal principle of justice: “that which you hate done unto yourself, do not do unto others”, we allow God’s truth to penetrate into our psyche. When we recognize the grace of God’s goodness that is expressed in every detail of existence, and we are moved to take the goodness that we were blessed with and allow it to flow towards another creation of God, we have then connected to the kindness and love of God. It is not that these activities bring us closer to God. The practice of kindness and truth are a connection to God in and of themselves.
There is one more false teaching that these men have propagated in the name of the Torah of my God. They have encouraged people to direct their hearts in worship of and in devotion to a man who walked God’s earth and breathed God’s air like the rest of us.
If there is any teaching that is contrary to the Torah with which we were entrusted it is this one.
My nation was called upon by God to serve as His witnesses (Isaiah 43:10). God taught us that there is none beside Him that is worthy of our worship and devotion (Deuteronomy4:35). Our core duty as a witness nation before God is to remain loyal to the truth that all created beings are equally subservient to the One Creator of all. Every facet of our existence, including our ability to love and to worship belongs to God and to God alone. It is my duty as a Jew to testify to you that your heart belongs to the One Almighty God who loved your heart into existence in the first place.
There is no greater joy on earth than approaching your Creator in heartfelt prayer. You don’t need anyone to plead for you and you don’t need to bring Him a blood sacrifice. The One who lovingly created every facet of your existence will accept you. All you have to do is to trust in His love.
